But just wondering what y'all's liquor of choice is:
I'm a Coors OG and whiskey or tequila guy personally... My tequila of choice is Coralejo Nd my whiskey of choice is Jamey..... What do you guys like!?

Variety is the spice of life!
When I'm cooking, a few bottles of red are in order. Concha Y Toro is usually an easy daily drinker, but I try and save the really good wines until a special occasion which is really hard to do.
Bat Fishing - I need a quick fix and a Four Loco "Liquid Crack" does the trick
If their is booze in the cabinet... I either like White Russians and throw on the Big Lebowski or make myself a Rusty Nail (Drambuie and scotch on the rocks)
I like to drink the good stuff, but usually something is sucking the money out of my wallet and I'm stuck with the Where's My Beer options.

Haha.. Didn't even remember posting this! Had a twelver of Coors before we went wine tasting... Had about 20 "tastes".. Came back and had about another bottle of wine and several shots of Espolon Tequila... Lol... I was straight hamboned! Feel surprisingly spry today!

I'm what you guys would call a pu$$y drinker. Nurse Coors Lights at a rate that if I do get to a 6th one the 1st is already metabolized out of my bloodstream so even if I do keep drinking I only have a five beer B.A.C...One or two IPAs if Im drinking for the taste.

4 empty heinekins, 4 empty coronas, 1 empty little sumpin ale (highly recommend this). Nice strong and smooth 7.5 alc.
Had to scroll upwards to remember the conversation topic.
Will have a few more, girlfriend will be here any moment.

When I spent most of my life drunker than most of you combined, Coors OG and Vodka. After that, whatever was available...wait, I'm no longer partaking in that stuff due to tiny humans. Can I still post here on this thread since I had to deal with most of you knuckelheads for too many years? ;D ;)

Much congrats and respect Eric, wishing you the best. It takes me about 2 years to forget why I don't drink, when I do it's whiskey (alot of it) and I feel like sh!t for a week :o

I'm going on a good buzz tonight. Spent the day working on the yard and drinking makes it enjoyable! Surf is to big Eric, at least down here. Good seeing you posting here occasionally even though I support not drinking. I say that with a grain of salt since I have a problem at times. Today is one of those times for me. Lol

My girlfriend let her daughter borrow the car since she was recently in an accident so im on my own time today.
I visited my parents this morning, they announced they had just purchased there second home. This one is in the prime area of our VC grinners 8) I will deffinately be visiting quite often :)
Been cleaning up around here and drinking some beer.
Almost did laundry and did manage to buy groceries.
Also organizing the new offshore tackle bag I recently purchased.
All in all a pretty productive day in my book.
Don't drink much anymore by personal choice. Once or twice a month or once every two months, but when I do its done right.

Well, I guess it was self imposed to prevent doctor mandated which was next. But my it was my health, rather than my desire.
Sobriety is way overrated.

Arrived to work this morning to find out that the boss/owner of the company had taken 2 of my coworkers (both fish as well) out offshore on his boat yesterday.
I was immediately butt hurt that I wasn't invited. I've been offshore with them on the companies yearly charter 2 times now and am always shooting the sh!t with them about fishing.
They went out pretty far (I forgot where) and ended up with 2 yellowfin in the 15lb range an a bonito.
I left the shop and was pretty bummed the first half of the day but soon put it past me.
I came back to shop 9 hrs later when my work load was done and was approached by one of the guys.
He took me over to warehouse 2 and showed me the ice chest of fish.
At this time I was just happy for them and was glad they got out.
You could just see how they were still in high spirits the way they talked. I know the feeling and that's what it's all about and what brings us back 8)
Work has been brutal these last 2 weeks.
A lot more heavy lifting than usual and longer days.
My back is tore up in 2 areas and it's not muscle soreness.
I destroyed a different section of my back 15 years ago and it's never healed, just become manageable now. I walk different to this day because of it. I have no control of it.
I've been I taking 800 milligrams of IB profen (anti inflammatory) and letting the hot shower water hit my back for a period of time which helped relieve some stiffness.
The thought had crossed my mind that I may need to look into a different type of work and I'm not the office type.
I'll be doing nothing but relaxing this weekend letting my back recupe.
These beers have relieved the pain, but I do have to get up pretty slowly.
Maybe a few more that will change ;D

Yeah, sometimes that's how things go Eric. No rhyme or reason or just maybe had a reason that they didn't want to share.
In either case, I think letting it go will be the best medicine. You might get the only invite on the next trip? Who knows what they are thinking but I'd let that sucker go by you and not give it another thought.

When this happens I just tell her I'm going, no asking involved 8)

I did pretty good today.
My average was 12 to 14 coronas or another beer with the same ACB (alcohol by volume) in a single evening.
After loosing 40 lbs and now only drinking once a month if that, i put down 10 tonight.
Ate some dinner and rehydrated, im feelin pretty good. 8)

Luksusowa is a great mild vodka if you haven't tried it. Good on its own and blends nicely.
Boxed wine is my favorite while I'm unemployed. 5 bottles for the price of 1? ooh buddy sign me up for that cvs card
