Returned to the original Bat haunt to get back to our roots Saturday
Arrived to find great conditions and Jimmy already in place with a co-worker and his son, perfect weather wide open spaces and great company what more can a man ask for?.............Bats maybe????? LOL

Didn't have to wait long before Jimmy put a mini bat then a solid mid 40" bat on the board, soon to be followed by one for me about the same size  which I handed over to Jimmy's friends 11 year old son for his first bat, couldn't get the smile off his face!

We were joined by Johnathan and not long after I got a hesitant pick up and a lazy run that when I set the hook showed itself to have a lot more horsepower in reserve! I had to really lay the wood to her to keep her from driving straight to the channel marker for a breakoff!!! :o

Shortly Jimmy pulled a great assist and 51" of ticked off bat slid ashore!

Thanks again Jimmy and see you next weekend for more of the same!
