Worked North along the canyon for nada with at least half a dozen other boats. The NSF passed me a few times each time I was full bendo on macks. At least I learned the yellow/black/yellow lobster buoys are on new to me prime sheephead spots. Also learned a cool little hack using a funnel to help keep kelp off your floats.

Congrats. I "failed" my first go around because dad didn't bother to check we had bald tires. On the 2nd go I passed. It sprinkled that morning. Only 2 points deducted. One for hitting the speed limit in inclement weather

Wow. Mid to late 90's was the last time I've seen stocker trout with dark meat. Had a few with eggs in them too. I knew they were fresh stockers because we were fishing them 50ft from the truck as it was unloading them. I want to say they were Nebraska Tailwalkers but I can't confirm.
