I've tried the KastKing on a couple of reels...you have to spool it on your reel under ALOT of tension, more so than other braids even, or it's going to dig into itself and catch up on its self when you cast. It "fluffed up" and got rough after about a month or 2 of use(and faded which isn't that big of a deal) I ended up taking it off and saving it to use as under backing to more quality braid I spool on my reels. It's a good value for certain applications though.

Couple of the guys tried KastKing. Everybody is using PowerPro again now except for our critter rods. If you really want to get serious about getting some fish tacos at our AO, you have to work the rocks, and you're going to lose line. 30lb KastKing seems to work pretty well and at that price you don't cry when you have to re-spool every 2-3 trips.

Don't go cheap Mike, your gonna hate yourself if you break off a nice grinner or bat b/c of the line. ;D

Maybe you can do some side by side comparison of this line with similar size power pro and do a write up for us?

I'll go cheap if results are similar to the name brand stuff. Once I find the time to spool up a reel and fish it, I'll post up a review.

I run 300 yards of green 50lb Power Pro with 125 yards of 65lb white Power Pro on top.  My backing has been on the reel for 3 years, and when I have to replace the white top shot it costs me less than $20.  Just my 2 cents   8)
