Hit the Bat Cave today, just Max and I this time. 1st cast with no bait was perfect, 2nd cast with a Mack head was even better :-* Let it soak for an hour and check it.......Nada ::) 3rd cast was ugly and the 4th was uglier  ???  Switched to squid for no love as well  ::) In the mean time, we were throwing Big Hammers for bass and missed a bunch >:( Max finally hooks into what looked like a Legal Butt as it went airborn and snapped him off  :o By 2:30 my investigative backlash research was done and we headed home. Not much of a tide swing today, but it was better than doing yard work 8) 8)

Glad to see you getting out and getting some practice casting, and fishing with the kid!

Not the most ideal times to target Bats. but you are right.  It's better than yard work!  lol  Bummer on Max missing out with those fish.  Revenge is sweet!
