Went to an Orthopedic Doc. today about my ankle cause this is the 3rd time I have snapped / rolled it

No fractures but definitely ruined from the last 2 times

The only way to correct the problem and limit the weakness is to do surgery

I asked him about recovery and he said 2-3 months and I would need to have a permanent cast this time

Doesn't have to be done right now, but it needs to be done ! NOT THIS SUMMER, Doc. ! Got a new boot and hobbled out

Looks like I get to wear this POS for the next 3 weeks

You should probably just keep wearing the boot. Plenty of support, no more injury. Problem solved.

Maybe you can find someone with the same size foot that has to wear a boot on the left side and you can go halvsies on shoes!
