Scratching the Itch (07-01-17)
« on: July 02, 2017, 06:55:14 PM »
Last minute need to fish, on sand by 10pm. Tide close to bottoming out, so wasn't expecting much. Maybe a miracle??

Mackerel and last years bullet tuna were the offerings. 2 rods employed. Lots of back and forth between the rods, critters were hungry. Fished til 1am. Beached 8 calicos ranging from 13" to 20". Wasn't expecting anything, so it was a pretty successful night! 17 and 19" calicos below.

Go when everyone is asleep. That's why you don't see any reports from me when the sun is out.

Bravo for getting out.  I'm usually getting done at 10 and not just going out!  LOL

Nice bass Mike.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
