Lunchtime Fun Redux (07-27-17)
« on: July 27, 2017, 02:19:09 PM »
Spent 45mins at the lunch spot. Small meal worms. Got about a dozen bluegill. Water was off colored. Yellow jackets were a nuisance, they actually forced me out. Kept thinking I was gonna get stung. Meal worms were too small. Will go back to night crawlers next time. I kept a couple to see how they taste. I haven't had freshwater fish since I left Tennessee in the 70s. This freshwater thing is starting to become a habit.

Dug the colors on this one.

We should head out to the imperial valley and fish for some flathead catfish with those bluegills.
