Old School Pelagic Trip (7/15)
« on: July 15, 2014, 08:51:37 PM »
Not only was I fishing in the same boat I owned before the Boma, but we had no GPS and we were using instincts to make it happen.  I'd rather GPS, but we made it happen!

Hook up!

We got schooled by some of these yellows.... thankfully we were on our game when the Dodo rolled through!

We got the cow first and pulled off the bull right after!

We left the paddy after a bunch of fish, especially when the Blue's rolled in....

This is what matters...

We should have stayed put, but the lure of tuna was too great.

Blue whales were breaching everywhere, but we had enough running with us to make the trip fun.

Fishing was fun....

Three species...

This where the BBQ needs to heat up!!!

Thing's are great out there right now.  Get your asses out there!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Nice work! I hate leaving biting fish to find non-biting fish!  :-\
Tight lines....

Really would have liked to go with, but the vacation day budget is getting tight.

That was fun Tom. Thanks for coming.

Next time Steve! ... Hope you did well today.

I get a bunch of comments on that pic of the Bull TOM. You caught it perfect with the dorsal fin all flared. I've caught a lot of Mahi - but that's the best pic anyone has taken. Thanks again!
