Moved north
« on: January 01, 2018, 09:03:35 PM »
Wanting to avoid any hassles or drama we fished about 10 miles north of where we were last week.  Denny had one solid pull down but failed to connect, my rod set untouched for the entire evening.  Conditions were stellar, no surf or weeds and a slight breeze to our backs.  The critter rod supplied us with fresh macs, so it wasn't a complete bust.

I wish I could long rod a beach and catch macks also. You’re overdue Verne!

That sounds exactly like our afternoon.  Did you go to the same spot we discussed?
