Fourth Time's A Charm... Spreader
« on: July 29, 2022, 08:28:29 PM »
I've tried rigging up a few narrow spreader bar rigs for the first time instead of buying a premade one.

First two rigs were 1 for 2 on the way it ran.  One tracked terrible and the other looked great.  The one that ran straight got ruined by my bad judgement of seeing a big mako and trying to curve the boat to hook him.  I did, but only messed up my only good running spreader.

Tried a third  configuration which I thought was going to be the ticket, but I was pretty disappointed with the tracking of these things.

I decided to start from scratch and mimic the ones that gave us luck.

Fourth time's a charm hopefully!
