Tuesday Report-For Mike-6/12/18
« on: June 12, 2018, 07:32:48 PM »
Here you go Mike.

Tom was sick. Waves were huge.

I intended to grab some bait I had in the freezer at work. Turns out if you leave frozen mackerel in the work fridge too long, it disappears. Who knew?

Plan was to hit Wohlford and try for cats. No bait made that tough.

New plan. Grab a couple slices and a beer then hit the pier.

Park, feed the meter, and load up. Great, no knife. No problem, buy one on the pier.

Tie a hook and split shot on one rod and a jig on the other. Plan is to get one on the jig then cut it up and fish bait.

Bite was on the iron. Got 32 pieces, some small, some nice, and kept my hands clean. Never even used my new knife.

Biting when I got there, biting when I left. Not sure it matters. 4-6 maybe?

Kind of matters with my late arrival times. Thanks for the info!

That's a really nice haul Steve! Congrats! I think I'm going to try and get some fresh bait off of Venice Pier in my area.

Just meant whenever I've tried the last few times they were biteing. You are safe to assume I'm not around at your schedule.

That bait looks a damn lot nicer than some of the stuff I've seen in other work freezers ;D
Anybody have an emergency beer?
