Today was the girlfriends day to do what she wanted. I talked her into going fishing, all it costed me was breakfast at ihop.

Bait prep



We headed out about an hour after dark. 

Set up 2 rods with fly lined macks. Spoke with the ranger who confirmed there are some serious channels in here, biggest one caught weighing in at42 lbs.

An hour passed and the rod i had set up for the gf did a solid bendo. I told her to grab it which she she refused and told me to. I did so and brought in this decent kitty.







Its official, I now have the catfish bug again. Can't wait to get out again.

I may make a desert run Saturday for a flathead. No dice on that, off to a lake.

I don't wanna jinks you so I'll wait till tomorrow.. But I'm definitely coming for you next year buddy.. I put the landlocked IE on the board somehow if there's freshwater involved.. But that is a nice little fishy..
