Tuesday Night.... Errr....Day Crew (8/7)
« on: August 08, 2018, 05:49:35 AM »
Squatch and I decided to light rod fish it only and get home at a reasonable time.  We couldn't fish the spot that I crushed the bass and vina since the beaches were wall to wall people!  We walked for miles only to be able to find 3 small spots to fish and they showed no signs of life.  I take that back, there was some bait fish in the area and some mullet... but nothing feeding on it.  Grass was just about an issue, but it was nice packing light for once.
I also had THREE fish run into my legs out there which totally freaks me out when I can't see them.  They didn't feel like a corbina, but more of the "Ray Family" sort of models.

Oh well, I'm done with this heat, people and summer.  I'm ready for fall....
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Different time of the year, different types of fishing. I try to off the beach before 8:00 am before all the knuckleheads show up  8)
