Dock hopping 12/1
« on: December 01, 2018, 07:19:21 PM »
Went to the local docks with the gf.

I was only allowed to fish for 2 hours right before (sunset) the magic hour.

Threw the umbrella the whole time and went 3 for 3.

Man, that looks like it would have my arms tired as hell after a few hours of casting.  Pretty cool though and I always wanted to try fishing an Alabama Rig, but just never committed to buying one yet.

Glad you got out and got some dock bass!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Oh i swear by these things.

I thought they were stupid at first till my buddy turned me onto them.

Ive seen days where the fish had lock jaw and nothing worked until we started chucking the umbrella.

Imo its like cheating at times, it really brings em out..

Its not bad at all on the arm or rotater throwing em after a while. You can always choose the sized lead heads you want and of course your favorite swimbaits.

Highly recommend them and can promise your numbers will go up.

If u decide to get into them let me know, ill save. you the trial and error and break it down into detail. Which ones and where to buy as well.

Someone on the boat should be throwing em at all times.

Dang reeal cool. I've never caught any on the umbrella rig yet. I'd like some tips and which brand/style to get if possible! I always seem to snag bottom. Maybe the trick is knowing your structure?
