Met up with Andre just before sunset for some REAL Tuesday night fishing
As per my style, I'm last on the beach and I already see him releasing a little bat ray. The skunk is already off for him. I quickly rig up and toss out a mack head. While I get the rest of my gear together, I look over at Andre and see he's hooked up again! Pretty solid fight. Very soup-like, zigging and zagging and some breaching. A quick drag up the beach for some pics and off it went. 68"
Damn, he's on fire already! Feeling the pressure, I get bit not that long after and it's a good one. Long runs resulting in seeing braid I haven't seen in well over a year. Andre slides her up and she's a beaut! My new PB at 75".
And then we a smattering of bat rays throughout the night that was not well received by me... Lol! I ended getting 4 and Andre gets 2. I actually ended my night with a bat. The bites were fast and furious. We were bit about every 10mins. We had 2 double hookups, which we both lost. Andre went 4 for 6 and I went 2 for 5. It was a pretty awesome night.
