Marine Forecast wrong again...
« on: July 18, 2019, 05:35:26 AM »
I'll put up a post later, but the marine forecast was accurate minus the 10-fold of intensity.

Bait Receiver guys said it was blowing hard all night.

Sustained 15-25 mph winds ALL Morning and afternoon long!  Only started to get below 15 mph after 4:30 pm.

Offshore was a wash, so we played at the islands all day.  Counts reflect what we went through...  Yellow Limits on Tuesday, but 1-2 around avg per angler yesterday.

We got our limits of groceries and headed home.  I never would have guessed I would be fishing locally with 72 other boats in a small area (on a Wednesday of all days) and 4-5 LONG RANGE BOATS at the Islands!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Been wondering how you did.

Concluded not so hot due to no tuna pic.
