2019... ending with the Flu
« on: December 24, 2019, 11:36:04 AM »
So, I procrastinated on getting my flu shot this year until it is too late.  Normally, It wouldn't be such a big deal, but my granddaughter is only 4 months old and needs to stay away from me per doctors orders.

So, everyone is getting together tonight and I'll be home on my chair trying to recover.  I'll see everyone tomorrow, but I won't be able to see my granddaughter for her first Christmas tomorrow.  What a terrible feeling I have right now and all because I didn't want to wait in line a month ago to get my flu shot...

Sorry, I just needed to vent and let this a reminder to myself that I need to get my flu shot every fall.

That really sucks Tom, I'm sorry to hear that.  Hope you're feeling better soon!

I never get the flu shot either, and never had the flu.

Went to the Doc for a checkup for the first time in 10+ years  because we switched Kaiser.  When he said he'd get my my flu shot I said no thanks and got berated for 5 minutes for it.  He was all worked up and red faced that I wouldn't get one  ;D

Switching to a different doc for my next visit 10 years from now.
