Lake Skinner
« on: July 26, 2020, 06:40:28 PM »
Took the toon to Skinner and wanted to get into some stripers, at least that was the plan since I bought frozen anchovies and chicken livers :D

Did some cruising around and put more time on the motor as we watched the fish finder

Max hooked into a small LMB while we trolled

We had lunch and headed towards the inlet

The fish finder  was loaded so I told Max to throw out a lure, he went with a spinner bait and scored :o 8)

Hew was JAZZED to say the least and I was super excited for him. He fought it like a pro and I netted it for him 8) 8). It was a nice day on the lake with the family, perfect weather too :) :)

Never really tried the bait for stripers. too busy watching his grin from catching his biggest fish to date 8)

First of all, Nice Fish Finder!

Now to Max's beast!  Tell him congrats for me!  That's a big one and worthy of an 8x10 hanging in the fireplace room!

Getting your money's worth for the boat.  I love it!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
