Lake Skinner heat wave
« on: August 16, 2020, 08:13:36 PM »
Made reservations a month ago to get away with friends for a weekend at the lake, didn't anticipate 111 for the high temp :o We set up camp and made the best of it and had a great time 8) Bad Pig got us there as usual ;)

We relaxed and caught up on old times and ate like Kings

Shrimp and Lobster goes well with Tri Tip

A cobbler was great with ice cream after dinner

Almost forgot.......The kids had fun catching micro bass all day, we didn't take the boat so they goofed around on shore

Came home and sat in the pool to cool off after 3 day of intense heat 8)

That's one hell of a Lake Skinner Crayfish tail!  LOL

Looks awesome!  Place looks pretty empty as I guess everyone was at the beach.  I need to make my way up there sometime.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

We got there on Thursday so it was not crowded, Friday the RV's started rolling in and it filled up. Tom, I think your boat would like it up there, lots of stripers  8)
