Operation "Ocean c*ckroach" (10/8)
« on: October 10, 2020, 11:42:36 AM »
I was tired of seeing everyone's "Easy Limits" of bugs online and wanted some of my own.

Lot's of bugs.... Got over 100 and with that half were an 1/8" or less short.  Some might have been legals on other boats, but if the gauge can even remotely go over the shell even if it's snug, it a toss back... thus I might have thrown back "easy limits", but I wasn't taking any chances.

This pull for example only had 1 keeper in it, but they all looked the same exact size.

There were hundreds of sand dollars in the nets!

Caught 5 big sculpin along with and half dozen legal rock crab to go along with a half dozen legal lobster.  Ended the evening at 1:00am and everyone seemed to have limits except for this boat...
No matter, lobster and crab for dinner tonight!

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Works for me Tom, kudos for being so careful.  I remember finding sand dollars on the beach as a kid, never knew they had hair on them

Mmmm I can smell the butter melting. Perplexed how do sand dollars make it into the net.
