Lake Mohave
« on: October 13, 2020, 12:09:17 PM »
Took a quick trip to Lake Mohave with friends so they could give us a tour since they have been going there for years, first pit stop was in Westmorland

Made our way to Laughlin Nevada where we had to park across the street from our Hotel, The Golden Nugget

1st day we launched out of Katherine's Landing Marina. Did some exploring and chilled in a cove for a bit to take a swim.

We fished a little bit with no luck even though we had the proper attire  ;D

The next day we launched out of Cottonwood cove, did some trolling and more sight seeing, the area is pretty.

Janie drove the boat a few times and we really enjoyed the scenery

The fish finder showed signs of fish, but none wanted to play :(

Our room wouldn't be complete without the correct representation 8)

Max and Myles fished hard, just wish we had more time to target the stripers.

Next trip will be a week long stay with more fishing involved. It was too hard to visit, sight see and travel all in a 2 day window......Feels good to be back home in my own bed and Jacuzzi 8)

Looks fun, you’ve been giving the pontoon a pretty good workout.

Perfect models for those fishing shirts!  Great looking trip and good looking water!  What were you using for bait?  Cut anchovies should catch everything from cats to stripers to bass!

Bravo guys!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I always had luck with cut bait at Lake Mead, this trip was just lures and I guess that was not a good idea >:(
