Pickled Eggs
« on: October 15, 2020, 03:35:20 PM »
Chickens are laying quite a bit so I decided to try to make Pickled Eggs, never had them but always wanted to try. I must say they are very good snack food 8)

You can add just about anything you want with the hard boiled eggs, I used some sliced carrots, onions, garlic, and jalapenos Peppercorns and ground pepper. Filled the jar to the top with white vinegar and let it sit in the fridge for at least 5 days, will last for months.......Enjoy 8)

Yes, you peel the shell off the hard boiled eggs ;) ;D

I can't get myself to hardly eat eggs unless they are fried.  A pickled egg always seemed to scare the hell out of me a bit.  Maybe it was Cool Hand Luke that killed me when i was younger on this, but the jar looks beautiful!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
