Sorry for the delay. Wiping off fish blood can get a little tricky.  ;D JK, alright enough with the teasers. Here it is...

Custom turned cork handle with burl inlays. Alps aluminum Centra-Lock reel seat. Measurements based on Tom's specifications.

Some crosswrap work. This one's a 4 axis optical chevron. Slapped on the infamous username in the end wrap.

Batson label sandwiched between trim bands.

Stripper guide. Old school beige Holland twist was used for the base wrap. Pretty hard to find these days.

Top running guides and the tip. All guides used are Alps XN in black. Been hearing nothing but good things about them.

And one more look at the chevron.

Tom, hope you like it. It was a fun build should be even more fun fishing it. Can't wait for the report. See ya soon!

I can't stop looking at this post.  I can hear my reel at home screaming to get mounted on its new steed!

The rod is even better in person. The Penn Fathom 30 is already mounted!

Thanks again, Len! Fantastic artistry!

That rod should be donated from PS as a raffle prize for the upcoming SCSF fish off in SD. :)

That's a beautiful rod!

Jealous of the work and the owner.
Keep it tight
