The last few weeks, there has been an abundance of kelp and decaying vegetation littering the surf and beaches of Southern California. Most likely from the warm 76 degree water which has swamped our shores.
Finally, the water is starting to slowly cool off and it looks like conditions to fish the surf is starting to improve. Sasquatch caught a quality Leopard Shark on a recent surf shark trip and was the first nice Leopard that we have seen in a long time.
Now things seem to start improving, so be sure to read up on the recent adventures and get you gear dusted off. There is still a Summer Shark Contest going on and the winner will receive two passes for half day fishing trips out of H&M Landing!
