What is there to say about fishing SoCal right now, then WOW! Whether you are inshore or offshore, the bite is pretty darn good. There is some quality inshore bass fishing going on while the majority of boats are running out to the tuna grounds. The water chlorophyll shots are showing bright blue water filling in and even though the water has cooled down a couple of degrees, it is still way above normal and the fish are cooperating.
The SoCal Bight really has it all going on right now, inshore bass, yellows and even white sea bass, while offshore continues to give up big bluefin, yellowfin , 20lb class dorado and offshore yellowtail! Not to mention the random free gaffed Opah caught in San Diego Bay! Get out there while the going is good. The wahoo are about due anytime now!
Now only if El Nino will bring the much needed rains to our thirsty state!
