Well, the surf layed down this past week just enough to settle the floating salad in the water and give us an opportunity to fish. A personal best was landed by Latimeria and followed up the next night with another Sevengill Shark caught by longtime member, Mike (Pinoyfisher).
This is the 4th Sevengill Shark over 105 inches in the last few years from the guys on Prehistoric Soul which is quite an accomplishment. One thing is for certain, that no matter what the size of the shark, a big smile is always on the face of the person who caught them!
Unfortunately, the surf picked up a bit and will probably ruin some of the surf for fishing here in the next few days, but at least we know the sharks are there waiting for us when mother nature decides to let us fish her shorelines again!
