Backup Power
« on: August 27, 2021, 11:47:41 AM »
SDG&E was offering a FREE  Yeti 3000X backup power supply so I responded and they delivered it today. A medical device is required in order to qualify, I have a CPAP machine so I was good to go. The guy came out and and set it up and showed me how to use it. It has a built in handle and wheels ( it weighs 80Lbs. ) and a solar panel to charge the battery, along with a cord to plug into 110 8) We live in the boondocks and the power goes out quiet a bit so this is perfect not only for a medical device but an appliance too. I have a couple generators but this is just additional backup power and I can take it camping too :) 8) Look into it if you are interested, it is a quite expensive unit :o

I know, I need to fertilize my lawn :-[ :-[

It has a carry case for the solar panels too

Is that from the Generator Assistance Program?  I'm using a CPAP and could really use one of those!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
