Trout Wishing (12/27)
« on: December 28, 2018, 09:08:18 AM »
Got to the lake just before the stocking truck got there.  We were going to fish the new trout getting released or look for bass, but the shoreline was crowded with trout rats and they took up the entire ramp, shoreline and even dock.

We decided to look for older stockers back by the cactus Patch, but that didn't work out too well.  We covered the entire lake looking for bass and trout, but  couldn't get either to go.

It was cold up there.  43 from what I could see on my phone.

Dave was done and we had to make room for us to get the boat out at the ramp from all of the people fishing there.

Oh well, no fish, but the Curmudgeon needed a good fresh water soaking anyway!  This was not a very good decision to go as my Cold is now a full blown nightmare.  Nothing is seeming to help and I just hope my last few days off aren't shot because of this bug!  LOL
