Due to the Corona madness we had to bug out 3 days early. I had concocted a plan for giant cats that would avoid the relentless black piranhas up to 6 lbs We got back to camp and got the bug out order so could not implement it.
 Will write up more in the coming days. Highlight was a 200+ lb Arapima.

Damn. To have the trip cut short like that is a kick in the nuts.

Yeah my nuts hurts bad. Did go after sunset one night because piranhas stop in the dark. Had massive hits but no landings.

You don't catch arapima, you earn them. Wait till you see the pics of hauling a boat out the river and through the jungle to a lagoon.

Don't have as many pic because we were going to take more the next days. Fargging virus crap. >:(

This COVID crap has just ruined so many things so far.  On a lighter note, I can't wait to see you and a huge Arapima!  I'm sure whatever pics you took are awesome.  I'm at least glad you got down there and had some experience!  It could have happened before your trip and you would have had nothing.
