Perseid and the Plaid (8/11)

Two Tuesday Night Trips in a Row! Met up with Steve for some Tuesday Night Shark fishing.  Beach #1 was full of purple death, so on to the next one.  Beach #2 has some floating sh!t, but it was very fishable.

It was pretty damn cloudy and we were hoping to see the Perseid Meteor shower as all the years prior have been duds while fishing, but the skies cleared and we saw maybe a dozen meteors between us.

Bait was getting picked clean on every cast by bait thieves and I finally broke the skunk with calico.

That was it...

No more fish...

The sounding phone alarm meant time was up and we split.  Getting to bed at 12:30 and waking up at 3:50 was no fun, but I'm here.

 Slept in til 430. I feel so refreshed.

 Still good to get out even though it was dead.
