Sockeye Salmon
« on: May 08, 2021, 12:25:39 PM »
I found some good looking wild caught Sockeye at the store and brought it home for the grill.  I marinated it in a brown sugar and bourbon glaze and coated with crushed peppercorns.  (The tin foil baking sheet was just a strong support platter to bring the filets outside and back in, but it was cooked right on the grill with indirect heat and a smoker box)

It came out great.  Not as great as if I caught it up in Washington and ate it that night good, but still pretty damn good none the less!

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

That looks mighty tasty Tom!
Do you have a recipe for the glaze?
