I spent A LOT of money this last year basically paying two shops to pretty much rebuild my boat motor. (Turns out they are fairly certain it was my ECU and had to purchase a new one since my old one was apparently 'unrepairable' from the ECU repair shop.... parts for that discontinued motor aren't easy to find and aren't very cheap)
I brought my truck in because I knew it needed new brakes, and probably needed the rotors resurfaced (It did). It was at the 100,000 mile service and knowing how expensive trucks are and the lack of quality used vehicles, I said lets get the required maintenance. Turns out the good part is it is pretty much set up for the next 100,000 miles... but I needed a new timing belt, serpentine belt, oil seal behind timing belt, water pump, valves adjusted, differential and transmission cleaning and fluid swaps along with all of the other fluids and spark plugs. I think there was more, but I'll just keep that there and you can probably have an idea on what that ran me for the entire bit.
Ugh, only money I guess, but I have little to spare.
Come on Powerball!

Sorry for the rant, but between the Vet, Boat, and Truck....
